Chart and Compass Press provides wholesale discounts to retailers who have filled out a credit application and who have a Resale Certificate or Resale documentation on file. Once a Resale Certificate has been submitted, the retailer will receive our discount rates which are based upon volume.
The Resale Certificate or attesting document must include:
• Name & address of purchaser
• Seller Permit number of purchaser
• Description of property to be purchased
• Statement that the described property is being purchased for resale. The statement must contain the words “will be resold” or “for resale.”
• The document must be dated
• The document must include a signature of purchaser or someone authorized to act on his or her behalf.
